If you have changed the email address you use. Then you can update the same in your account. Today I will tell you how you can change email address in SBI Online.
But to change this online, you will need to have the access to your internet banking account. I mean you should have your username, login password, and profile password.
Here in addition to the login password, you will also need to have your profile password. The reason is Email address is a part of the “Profile Section” of internet banking.
And when you want to access the profile section. The system will ask you to enter your Profile password.
If you don’t have your credentials with you or you have not registered yet for the internet banking services of the bank.
Then you can register for the services by using the “New User” option on the official website of the State Bank of India.
Steps to Change Email Address in SBI Online
Time needed: 5 minutes
You can update or change your email address in the Profile section of SBI Online. (Internet Banking) This will take less than 5 minutes of your time.
- Visit the Official Website of SBI.
First of all, you have to open or visit the official website of the State Bank of India.
- Login to your Internet Banking Account.
Enter your username, password, and solve the captcha code to login into your account.
- Click on the My Accounts & Profile option.
Once you have logged in to your internet banking account. You have to click on “My Accounts & Profile”. This is the first option that you can find in the top menu bar of the internet banking interface.
- Select Profile Option.
Now you have to select the “Profile” option by clicking on it.
- Click on My Profile.
After clicking on the “Profile” option you have to click on “My Profile” to select it.
- Enter your Profile Password.
Now the system will ask you to enter your profile password. Enter it correctly to access your “Profile” Section of internet banking.
- Click on “Change” Email ID.
Scroll down and look for “Email ID” and click on “Change” in front of your Email ID or Address.
- Enter your New Email Address and Click on Submit.
Now you have to enter your new email address correctly and click on the “Submit” button.
- Enter your High-Security Password Received on Email Address.
To validate your new email address the system will send you an OTP on your new email address. Enter the OTP and click on the “Approve” button to change your email address in SBI Online.
In case you did not receive the high-security transaction password on your new email address. Then you can use the “Resend” option given below.
If you find any of your detail mismatching in the “My Profile” section. Then you should visit your home branch to get it corrected.
