If you have been using the State Bank Secure OTP app to generate OTP for your online transactions. And now have decided to disable the same. Then the only way to do it is using the internet banking portal of the website.
When you disable secure OTP you will start receiving the OTP on your registered mobile number. The bank will generate it for you and send it to your mobile number.
The bank will not charge you anything to disable and enable the secure OTP app for your bank account. So you don’t have to worry about the fees and charges.
Steps to Disable State Bank Secure OTP App

You will be able to disable State Bank Secure OTP by following the steps mentioned below.
- Visit SBI Online.
The first thing you have to do is visit the official website of the State Bank of India. Just type in SBI Online in the search engine and you will get it.
- Login to your Internet Banking Account.
Click on the login button and enter your account details to login into your internet banking account.
- Click on My Accounts & Profile.
Once you login into your account, click on the “My Accounts & Profile” option. This option will help you to access all the settings related to your bank account.
- Click on High-Security Options.
You will find all the account and profile-related settings there. Now you will have to click on “High-Security Options”. This section includes settings regarding the OTP that you receive for the transactions.
- Change the Mode of Receiving OTP to SMS.
There are two major modes of receiving OTP in SBI Online. They are SMS and the Secure OTP App. Now you will have to choose the mode to SMS and apply the changes.
After you make this change you will start receiving the OTP on your registered mobile number every time you initiate a new transaction.
